We have a busy meeting planned for Wednesday, October 16 at the Nanaimo Curling Club ! We will have our quilting related garage sale, so bring some money!
We will also enjoy a 40th Anniversary cake! And kits for this year's Challenge can be purchased for $2. There will be no library at this meeting due to the space restriction, so any books you took out in September will be due in November.
Doors open at 1:00 and 6:00 pm, and the meetings start at 1:30 and 6:30 pm.
As usual, bring your donation quilts and placemats, items for Show and Share (bring any fall themed items you have created in the past), your coffee cup, change for raffles,and any Country Grocer receipts (if you collect them). See below
As a nonprofit society, we can earn 1% on every $1000 in tapes that we save, in the form of gift cards that do not expire (This will help us buy supplies for our next Quilt Show).
The tapes can be from any Country Grocer location, for anything in the store, and for any amount. Please fold (don’t roll) the tapes and place in an envelope to prevent fading. There will be a box available at our meetings to drop off your tapes.
