Nanaimo Quilters' Guild looks forward to a modest but festive in-person Christmas Tea on Wednesday, December 15, at the Nanaimo Curling Club. Doors will open at 1:00 pm and the meeting will start at 1:30.

To keep the whole event simple, and fun, you need to bring your own mug, maybe wear a Christmas sweater, kind of a build your own party.  We will have a brief meeting, a guest speaker and a vote on the challenge.  One game you can do in your chair, some social time, mingling 6 feet apart, and of course a Christmas show and share. If you have a special quilt you made during the last 18 months that has a short story, please bring to share. There will be no library this day.

Please stay home if you are not feeling well or experiencing a cough, runny nose, headache or fever; if you have travelled outside Canada in the past 14 days; if you have been exposed to anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the previous 14 days and/or have been advised to self-isolate and watch for symptoms.
To attend, you will need a mask and your BC Vaccine Card and identification.
Bring your Name Tag,  Show & Share and a beverage and/or snack for yourself if you wish.
Upon arrival:

  • Please be wearing your mask
  • Have BC Vaccine Card and ID ready on arrival at the building.
  • Proceed upstairs to sign in

Please be patient with us as we manage entry requirements. Please maintain physical distancing.
While in the meeting your mask must be worn at all times. If you have brought a beverage or snack you may remove your mask to consume them but must remain seated.
Please respect physical distancing during the meeting.
There will be no library.
Please respect directions provided by guild volunteers.
Do not move tables or chairs – they are placed to maximize physical distancing.
We look forward to seeing you!
