Our holiday meeting is Wednesday, December 10, afternoon meeting only, at the Nanaimo Curling Club at 1:30 (doors open at 1:00). Bring an appetizer or dessert to share for our party. There will be some seasonal mischief along with a Show and Share of Christmas crafts. The Library is taking a seasonal break and will be back in the New Year and Donations will be collecting, but not distributing, new materials at this upcoming meeting.
Along with your food to share, remember your coffee cup, dishes, and cutlery, donation placemats and quilts, change for raffles, items for Christmas themed show and share and/or free table items, and Country Grocer receipts (if you shop there - more info below).
As a nonprofit society, we can earn 1% on every $1000 in tapes that we save, in the form of gift cards that do not expire (This will help us buy supplies for our next Quilt Show).
The tapes can be from any Country Grocer location, for anything in the store, and for any amount. Please fold (don’t roll) the tapes and place in an envelope to prevent fading. There will be a box available at our meetings to drop off your tapes.
