Welcome back to the beginning of the quilting year! Our first meeting is Wednesday, September 16 at the Nanaimo Curling Club, 106 Wall Street. Doors open at 1:00 and 6:00 pm,
the meeting starts at 1:30 and 6:30. You can renew your membership if you haven't done that already, and learn about this year's workshops and register.
Remember your library books, coffee cup, change for raffle tickets, donation quilts, Show and Share, and any items for the free table.
Members whose last names start with the letters A and B, it’s your turn to bring goodies to the meeting for our coffee / tea break. There is lots more information in the newsletter.
We are still collecting Country Grocer receipts, which has been very helpful in offsetting some of our expenses so we hope everyone will continue to support it.
As a nonprofit society, we can earn 1% on every $1000 in tapes that we save, in the form of gift cards that do not expire (This will help us buy supplies for our next Quilt Show).
The tapes can be from any Country Grocer location, for anything in the store, and for any amount. Please fold (don’t roll) the tapes and place in an envelope to prevent fading. There will be a box available at our meetings to drop off your tapes.
