Our next meeting is Wednesday, November 19, at the Nanaimo Curling Club at 1:30 and 6:30 (doors open at 1:00 and 6:00). In conjunction with the unveiling of our 2025/26 Guild Quilt Show Challenge, we have invited special guest, Philippa Zapf, to speak to us about quilt challenges. Get ready to be inspired!
Remember to bring your library books, membership and workshop registration forms and payment, your coffee cup, donation placemats and quilts, change for raffles, items for show and share and/or free table items, and Country Grocer receipts (if you shop there - more info below). If your surname begins with E, F, G or H, it’s your turn to bring goodies to the meeting for our break.
As a nonprofit society, we can earn 1% on every $1000 in tapes that we save, in the form of gift cards that do not expire (This will help us buy supplies for our next Quilt Show).
The tapes can be from any Country Grocer location, for anything in the store, and for any amount. Please fold (don’t roll) the tapes and place in an envelope to prevent fading. There will be a box available at our meetings to drop off your tapes.
